After going so long without rain I finally got my wish. It has been storming here for 18 days straight now with no end in site. Everyday before noon the sky turns black and the rain and lightning starts and continues the rest of the day. The garden has been left to its own until the monsoons dry up.
The moon flower vine seems to like the constant rain and with the dark overcast has been blooming in the middle of the day.
The yellow shrimp plants are enjoying the wet weather also and it is full of blooms.
Until I can get a break in the rainstorms I keep busy with other chores around the homestead. Its hard to stay inside but you have to play the cards you are dealt.
The weather here reminds me of the inherent truth in the old saying, " be carefull what you ask for you just might get it". ---sanddune---
